An e-commerce site offers its visitors a way or purchasing a service or item. This normally involves providing some sort of picture or image of the item with a description. This type of site also requires some sort of shopping cart software which will additionally require the website owner to have a merchant account that can accept online payments.

Blog or WebLog
A blog is a type of website that has really caught on fire over the past couple of years. It provides regularly updated information. Viewers/readers of blogs normally return to blogs on a regular basis in order to read the newest information “posted” there. As a great way of communicating with clients and/or potential clients, some website owners will include a blog with their website so that they may build a rapport with their customers and clients.
